ABOUT ME

Welcome Students,

I'm Ms. T and I am your new college advisor this year! My post at KHSCD is through College Advising Corps, a national nonprofit that partners with colleges and universities to place recent graduates in high schools as full-time college advisors.

At KHSCD, my job is to help answer any questions about the college navigation process. Ask me about: searching for schools, match/fit, test prep, the application process, finding scholarships, applying for financial aid, transitioning to college, and more.

I joined College Advising Corps because I am passionate about helping students realize their full potentials, and guiding them to a path after High School that is right for them. I look forward to serving the students, families, and community of Knightdale this year!

Go Knights!

College Advisor

The College Advising Corps, based in Chapel Hill, N.C., works to increase the number of low-income, first-generation college and underserved high school students who enter and complete higher education. To deliver on this mission, the College Advising Corps places well-trained, recent college graduates from 24 partner institutions of higher education as full-time college advisers in the nation's underserved schools. The College Advising Corps provides the support that high school students need to navigate the complex processes of college admissions, securing financial aid, and enrolling in schools that serve them well. 2014-2015 was Duke University's first year as a CAC partner institution. â€‹2015-2016 is the first year that KHSCD will be served by an advisor.
